At Costella Kirsch, we begin the prospective investment process by developing a close understanding of the management team and business model. We look for the following attributes in a potential partner:
Leadership
A core management team with strong leadership and relevant industry experience.
Financials
Growth, modest cash burn, and capital efficiency are common attributes of successful startups. We typically size our facilities to historical actual performance. While we don’t require a fresh round, existing equity investors are often helpful.
Market Fit
Meaningful market traction and, in many cases, a product or service with a substantial technological component or strong brand position.
